Hand forged sterling silver earrings in an organic style formation. Antiqued and polished to a soft matte finish. When photographing product I go through my collection of curated vintage items… it’s just something about the time worn textures that draws me to them and I feel pairs so well with the silver. When photographing these particular earrings, I had a stack of antique bibles set out. Upon opening one of them I found a pressed fern with a note card telling about the species. The handwriting from those days is nothing like the writing we see today. I wish I knew the author. I’m sure she had many stories to tell. These earrings get their name from part of her writing.
